Learn how to grow delicious mushrooms in the garden, create delicious mushroom cookery, embody healing with mushrooms, as we discover myco-mimcry and practice social somatic mycology with ourselves, each other, our allies, ancestors and teachers in the co-creation of a new earth.

Over the course of three days, we’ll explore mushrooms not just as organisms, but as teachers, healers, collaborators, and creative muses. Participants will learn how to cultivate their own gourmet and medicinal mushrooms using accessible, everyday resources. We’ll gather around delicious mushroom-centered cookery, explore healing relationships with fungi, and listen deeply to what mushrooms have to teach us about connection, resilience, and reciprocity.

The weekend weaves together hands-on learning and embodied experience—from myco-art, spoken word, music, and poetry to social mycology and somatic practices that invite curiosity, presence, and play. This is an opportunity to learn, taste, and experience relationships with the fungi and community under open skies with mountain views.

Jordan has been studying and working with mushrooms since 1978, inspired by early writings from Paul Stamets. With decades of hands-on experience in identification, cultivation, and field study, he began teaching low-tech, permaculture-based mushroom methods in 2004.

He was a long-time member of the Oregon Mycological Society, where he supported workshops, led identification tables, and presented at annual events. Jordan has taught and collaborated with organizations including OSU Master Gardeners, Telluride Mushroom Festival, and multiple mycology groups across the Pacific Northwest.

As co-founder of Fungables LLC, he developed and produced a range of mushroom-based tinctures. Today, Jordan continues to share his knowledge through teaching, writing, and creative projects focused on practical mycology and personal connection to the natural world.

For those who wish to continue the journey, this gathering pairs beautifully with other celebrated mycology events in Colorado:
